Effective immediately all owners of Ryobi model RA200 and RA202 radial arm saws should stop use and contact Ryobi customer service at (800) 525-2579 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. ET to arrange for return of a portion of the saw in exchange for $75. There is no repair available for the saws, which were sold between 1986 and 1997. The model number is located behind the operator grip. Ryobi has voluntarily recalled the saws due to instances of cracked housings that allowed the blade assembly to fall out. Four reports of lacerated fingers have been filed. Ryobi estimates that 145,000 saws are affected by this recall. The saws orignally sold for between $200 and $300.
