The design studio “Because We Can” certainly lived up to its name when they unleashed their Interactive LED Coffee Table, also known as “The Wave.” The tabletop is made up of 480 LED light sensors under a glass or plastic top that are activated whenever something moves over the top. A network of 32 active and passive sensors detect motion, making the light patterns follow the action with perfect fades. And, operating at the same wattage as a household light bulb, it’s no energy hog. I can just about guarantee you’ve never seen anything like it before. It’s made of 100% sustainable wood and measures 62″ inches long by 31″ inches wide. Each table is made to specification and can be purchased online from the Because We Can website for $2,800.
