Attention contractors and do-it-yourselfers—nearly 10,000 Caterpillar Logger Boots are being recalled due to dangerous mislabeling. The steel toe boots are incorrectly labeled as resistant to electrical current and shock, but they are not. Boot owners should check serial numbers located on the tongue of the boot. The recall affects boots sold between September 2006 and July 2007 in both men’s and women’s sizes. Women’s boots were sold in black and have stock number P88030. Men’s boots were sold in brown and black and have stock numbers P88033 or P88034. If your boots are in the recall, stop wearing them immediately and phone Wolverine World Wide at (800) 789-8586 or email them at productnotice@wwwinc.com for a free replacement pair.
