The cold has set in and snow has arrived here in the Northeast, sending us all scurrying inside to hibernate for the winter. Even homebodies can get the doldrums spending so much time indoors. I recently read a helpful article called “Ways to Make a Home More Cheerful during Winter,” that included these suggestions: bring in spring flowering plants like daffodils; use light bulbs like Reveal® from GE that give more natural lighting; create a cozy space with a favorite oversized chair complete with pillows, a throw and a reading lamp; and burn candles with spring scents like lavender. All these great suggestions should make staying inside for the next three months a little easier.
