With many cities and towns running out of room for trash collection, and charging you to dispose of it, an innovative company in Los Angeles is taking a unique twist. Forever Landfill is a private, residential refuse disposal service that allows you to secure your own landfill plot. According to the L.A. County Sanitation Department, every one of Los Angeles County’s landfills will reach maximum capacity by 2013. While that fact alone is a concern, the marketing spin that the site puts on its service is interesting to say the least. Here’s a quote: “Without Forever Landfill, you could be forced to alter your lifestyle and would never be able to keep up with the latest trends!” Well, I guess they are trying to appeal to people from Los Angeles….
