The story of former Tonight Show sidekick Ed McMahon’s home being in danger of foreclosure just got weirder. A buyer stepped in to save the home and it was none other than Donald Trump. Trump, who had never met McMahon but says he “grew up watching him on TV,” plans to buy the home and lease it back to McMahon so he can stay in it for 18 years. McMahon ran into foreclosure danger after defaulting on $4.8 million in mortgage loans. I guess it pays to have powerful fans.
