A reader of Mother Earth News has a suggestion for reusing paint thinner. After cleaning up, Doug Sloane of St. Joseph, Louisiana suggests pouring the used paint thinner into a new container. After a few days, the solids settle to the bottom and the thinner at the top of the container can be reused.
