Space heaters don’t necessarily cut it here in the Northeast, especially during the bone-aching cold this winter. But in warmer climes, such as California and Florida, the nights can get surprisingly cool in winter and a space heater is an ideal solution. Los Angeles resident Dan Crane of Slate wrote a piece recently shopping for the best model. He rated seven heaters on a 31-point scale. It’s a good read if you are in the market for a space heater for those cool nights.
