You can imagine my dismay when I noticed big chunks of paint peeling off the inside of the lid of our grill. The death of a great grill! I’ve had it for almost 11 years. But you can also imagine my happiness when after shopping online for a new grill I came across this post on the Weber Web site explaining “Don’t worry, it’s not paint.” Apparently it’s a common problem: What I thought was paint was actually accumulated grease and smoke, non-toxic and easy to remove with a brass brush. Success! Let summer begin. I’m ready.
