The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) added another type of Roman Shade to the list of those recalled due to strangulation hazard.
A massive shade and blind recall back in November saw tens of thousands of roman shades and blinds recalled because of the choking and strangulation hazard that the cords posed for children.
Now 25,000 roman shades and roll up blinds from retailer Oriental Furniture are being recalled for those same reasons. Fortunately, no incidents or injuries from these shades or blinds have been reported, yet.
