Following in the wake of the roll-up blind and shade recall epidemic is the massive baby crib recall, which is itself hitting staggering numbers.
No less than seven different baby crib manufacturers have announced recalls of their products, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Six of the seven products are of the drop-side variety, which apparently is posing serious suffocation, entrapment and fall hazards to infants.

Consumers are warned not to try to fix the issues themselves. Most manufacturers are sending repair kits that will immobilize the drop-side to eliminate the hazards.
If you own a crib, check to see if it’s on the list of those recalled.
