Green Builder Magazine has issued its call-out for the annual Green Builder Home of the Year Awards.

If you think green, build sustainably and incorporate the natural environment into your design, you should think about entering into the contest. The magazine is looking for the best green homes that “include sustainable features, innovate design, whole home performance and integration with the natural environment.”

Last year’s winner was a Park City, Utah home designed by French-born architect Jean-Yves Lacroix to be made with pre-cut components, blend in with the natural vista and use very little outside energy or water. It’s worth taking a look at to know what your home might be up against!

If you think your home could be a contender, send an email to Green Builder to request an entry packet.

Good luck to all those who enter!
