240,000 Adventure Playsets Wooden Swing Sets were recalled recently due to a fall hazard. According to the CPSC recall the wood in the posts of the fort section of the swing sets can weaken due to rotting, posing a fall hazard.
The company has received more than 500 complaints over the weakened wood in the 2×4 plastic-coated uprights. There was one report of a fall that resulted in bruises and scratches to the child.
Consumers who own one of the effected models should stop using the product immediately and contact Adventure Playsets to obtain a free repair kit.
