Here is yet another solution to bed bug infestation. I love that the video starts off with the advice, “don’t freak out.” Sorry, but if I spot bed bugs, I’m in full freak out mode. Aren’t they, like, impossible to get rid of?
According to Bayer, all you need is a can (or twenty) of RID Home Lice, Bed Bug & Dust Mite Spray. As the video suggests, spray the product where you see evidence of bed bugs or where they are likely to be found (mattresses, edge of carpet, under the bed, in the closet…Oh wait, no. Those last two are where you’ll find the Bogey Man).
I don’t know about anyone else, but there’s something discomforting about spraying anything on the mattresses where I spend 8 hours a day. Do I want to be inhaling this stuff at night?
Then again, a can or two of the spray is cheaper than hot-boxing your home, which is the other–and quite costlier–option.
I say try the spray. See if it works. If it doesn’t, get ready to break that piggy bank.
