Boston Bombe Secretary
Tommy's most iconic piece of furniture, the Bombe Secretary, was built over an eighteen-month period between 2005 and 2006. The entire process was documented on film and aired on his internet-based series, The Rough Cut Show.
Over the past 15 years, the Bombe has been on display in museums, the Massachusetts Historical Society, and the North Bennet St School. Crafted from. This truly special piece was crafted from one board of exotic South American mahogany.
The Bombe boasts the best in hand carving: ball and claw feet, moldings, finial, serpentine front, and Bombe curved sides. It features custom handcrafted period glass mirrors, period brass hardware, delicately applied 24 karat gold leafing, and a shellac finish.
Cherished for years to come, built to be passed down for generations; this iconic Secretary desk will become part of your family's story and hold all your best memories.
