Mission Style Loose Back Rocking Chair – Made to Order

This luxury, arts and crafts inspired, rocking chair was designed for beauty and comfort. The Loose Back Rocker has a deeper seat and a fluffy oversized back cushion. Named the Millie after Tommy’s mom honoring her love of rocking chair. “Some of my fondest memories growing up include a rocker. In particular, I remember on Christmas Eve my dad reading a Dickens classic “The Night Before Christmas” from a classic rocking chair, with all 9 of his kids sitting around listening intently. He did this every year.”

Our rockers are built exclusively from sustainable North American hardwoods. Sequentially matched boards gives each rocker it’s own unique look and feel. Constructed with time tested traditional joinery and techniques, including through-mortise-and-tenon and bent laminated rockers. The chair cushions are crafted with a nine-spring eight-tie seat foundation and a plush down back cushion, both upholstered in the finest fabrics and leathers. Like all Tommy’s work, this luxurious one-of-a-kind rocker is built to be your future family heirloom.
