   I love watching these lessons, but you skipped something that I have been trying to learn. Preparation of the planks for the top, deciding on the size of the individual pieces. What is important in determining the width of the boards? If you are working with wide boards, how do you mill them when they are wider than your jointer to ensure they are flat? Layout of the boards, do you alternate “grain up” vs “grain down” while matching the grain? Etc.
