Want to know what life was like for Tommy when he attended the North Bennet Street School? Check out this great interview by Frank Byers (of Woodcraft blog fame) of six NBSS students who had pieces featured at WoodExpo 2011.
This is a great mini-education for anyone interested in following in the footsteps of Tommy and these other amazing woodworkers.
I am really enjoying your great show Tommy. You are an inspiration, a super teacher and Your support people are really good too. I belong to a “Woodclub” here in the Milwaukee, WI. area and have “passed the word”! Because your show is broadcast local, many of our members (we have 150+) are making antaennas, buying the digital box just to see what you’re all about! Some have even “QUIT” cable and “SATTALITE” because DIY simply doesn’t have a great wood-show like yours. You appeal to all ages, I say that because I’m 83 years old, been doing woodwork since the 5th grade, even while I was still in the States while in the Army at Ft Monmouth, N.J. before I went overseas. I hope you will continue. Its about time. I still have old tapes of Norm Abrahms back in 1987 or so. I remember checking to see if he still had “ALL TEN” when he got off the table-saw!!!
Best of luck to you and your great helpers.
