This curly cherry hope chest is an accent piece in Tommy’s bedroom set. It was one of the most fun pieces for Tommy to make. It features full blind mitered dovetails that were way easier to create than they sound. The twisted feet are an unexpected element. Tommy’s appreciation for the innate beauty and uniqueness of each piece of wood are apparent in the way he wrapped the grain pattern around the body of the chest.
I think that your web site would be a lot more helpful if you included the dimensions so that I could get a rough idea if I’m interested in building the project prior to ordering the plans, it would also assist me in choosing which project to tackle
yeah i really like this hope chest.. it wood be nice if you could add the dimensions of the hope chest and your other projects that you put up on here, that i might want to try to make someday..
