I don’t know about you, but the mere thought of hot and cold water outside just makes my heart sing. I live in the Northeast and believe me, the hose water is cold! Now I have a new product on my list—the Hot and Cold Sill Faucet from Moen. It works a lot like a single-control shower handle that pulls to turn on and off and regulate flow. Temperature is set by turning, and a nice blue/red collar shows where to find the hot and cold settings. They even installed an automatic cold mix to prevent scalding. Moen claims that worries about frozen lines are a thing of the past with a special design to protect the cartridge from cold. It comes in 8-inch and 12-inch lengths and costs $64 or $68. This could change my dog’s life, vastly improve the look of my vehicle, and prompt thoughts of outdoor showers. Available now.
