Here’s a great example of the power of social media. In a story posted on The Consumerist, a man with a faulty Sears-bought Kenmore dishwasher got tired of having repairman after repairman sent to his home only to fail at their job and instead followed Doug Moore, SVP and President of Appliances at Sears, on Twitter.

A few tweets and one phone call later, and our hero has himself a new dishwasher.
