When I hear the words “pump-action,” I think shotgun, not screwdriver. Lee Valley is out to change this with their Autoloader Screwdriver. A handy 6-in-1 tool, the Autoloader holds six different bits, all housed within a clear chamber. To change bits, users need only pull the clear chamber forward, line up the correct bit, and slide the chamber back into place. Magnetic bits allow for easy removal and pre-loading of favorite or commonly used bits. The Autoloader comes fully loaded with six bits: Phillips #1 and #2, slotted 3/16″ and 1/4″, and square-recess #1 and #2. Most would agree that $16.50 is not a lot to pay for one tool that replaces six. Personally, I’m loving these all-in-one tool innovations—fewer tools means less storage and fewer trips to the toolbox.
