With a recent government survey showing at least 36 states are anticipating water shortages by 2013, it’s more important than ever to conserve water. With that in mind, the EPA has launched a new WaterSense widget for Web site owners to inform their visitors of water conservation tips. All Web site owners need to do is enter a small snippet of code to their site and voila(!), a little banner that provides water conservation tips for visitors is created. There is no maintenance required as the EPA provides the updates for the graphic. A nifty piece of technology, if you ask me.
