Has your kitchen seen better days?

You’re not alone. According to the results of a recent survey conducted by Whirlpool Corporation, 75% of consumers think that cleaning the refrigerator means throwing things away. Sounds like there are a lot of nasty refrigerators out there.

I’m sure the stove tops, ovens and microwaves aren’t faring much better.

To get us all on the right kitchen cleaning track, Whirlpool has launched the Institute of Kitchen Science, a helpful site where the overwhelmed among us can get tips on tackling kitchen cleaning projects one step at a time. Don’t let the name of the “Institute” fool you. It’s basically just a Facebook group.

Be that as it may, the site has some helpful tips. This week has been designated “Clean Your Refrigerator Week.” Seems as good a place as any to start.

Check out some of the other tips on Whirlpool’s latest site. It could just be the kick in the rear that you need to get that kitchen sparkling clean.

At a loss for other cleaning projects to undertake? Check out this Spring Cleaning list we put together. Start at the top and work your way down.

No thanks necessary. Your clean home is thanks enough.
