Prime-Line of Redlands, California recently announced the recall of 37,000 child safety latches and outlet covers as well as 8,000 non-slip shower/bath pads. The latches and outlet covers were recalled due to a faulty screw, which can break and allow a child access to an outlet and other potentially hazard items. The non-slip pad was recalled because some of the pads do not work, posing a fall hazard for children.

The latches and covers were sold under the brand name Child Safe. Both products were sold at Ace Hardware, while the latches and covers were sold at a number of other stores. You can get the full list on the product recall page.

Consumers who own either product should contact Prime-Line to look into a replacement.
